The US Used To Take Customs and Courtesies For Granted

Last edited on March 18, 2017

The U.S. used to take diplomacy and customs and courtesies for granted. Those days apparently ended with the rise of Donald Trump.

"I can't see you so I can't hear you." President Trump
Why did the U.S. take presidential customs and courtesies for granted for the last 200 years? Because every U.S. president prior to January 20, 2017, understood the importance of etiquette. President Trump seems to be clueless about how he is being seen on the world stage.

The Way It Is And Used To Be

Think about all those memes on the internet and how many times you hear people tell us "I was raised better." How about those people who say in a disgusted tone "our younger generations are rude because they don't say please and thank you anymore."

Locker Room Or "So-Called" Business Talk Can Continue

Yes, President Trump can continue to treat the presidency as a business deal in progress but the business of governing a nation has very little to do with business. I hope he also realizes that there are many people willing to help him be presidential.
